The fundamental aim of the Graduate Diploma in Finance is to facilitate progression to postgraduate study in the area of finance and related disciplines by allowing graduates in disciplines other than finance or financial economics to convert their knowledge and skills to those expected of an Honours graduate in finance/financial economics. The course also enables holders of those with non-UK degrees (that are not considered equivalent to UK degree standards) to upgrade their degrees to the level expected of a UK Honours finance/financial economics graduate and so facilitate postgraduate study. Those with third-class UK degrees can also upgrade their skills. If you do not have a degree, but have professional qualifications and/or experience at an appropriate level, then this course isalso suitable.
Students benefit from studying in the heart of the City, and are able to use the University’s Bloomberg training terminals which give access to a huge database of company information, news, financial instrument prices and valuation analytics.
